Description: This set of 20 Boom Cards covers estimating products using rounding and 2-digit by 2-digit area model multiplication with a fun camping theme! The first five area model questions have the factors broken into expanded form already. The last five area model questions require students to do this on their own and complete the area model. Students must pay attention to the sides of the rectangle in order to get the placement of the numbers correct. UPDATE: I did set the answer key to allow factors to be placed on either side regardless of the size of the length or width.
