Help students strengthen executive functioning and calendar awareness with this interactive April 2027 Calendar activity! Students are given the starting day of the week for April 2027 and the total number of days in the month. They begin by filling in the missing dates on a blank calendar, then use their completed calendar to answer a variety of questions. Examples of tasks include identifying dates, finding the 3rd Wednesday, determining how many Saturdays are in the month, and other calendar-based challenges that encourage planning, organization, visual scanning, and problem-solving. The last slide allows customization via placing stars on special dates (can use to mark birthdays, tests, holidays, any meaningful dates to the student) plus an open-ended text box to write details about those dates! Skills targeted: Executive functioning Calendar awareness Sequencing and organization Visual scanning Date recognition Following directions Critical thinking This deck is especially fun to use during April 2027, but the skills extend far beyond one month.
