Description: This Boom Card is based on Michelle Garcia-Winner's Social Thinking Curriculum that has helped so many of my students understand social awareness and expectations during their interactions with adults and peers. This card features several interactive features of the concepts: "Body in Group" and "Brain in Group" in two different learning environments: in-person and on the computer. Use this with your social skills group as one of the lessons to start with to outline expectations within the group or to remind your students what the expectations are during group sessions. After presenting this to my students, I have personally used these phrases: "body in group" and "brain in group" as a way to remind my students their group expectations.
