Description
Reading Comprehension targeting COMMUNITY HELPERS. Students choose 1 of 8 colorful doors to get started (knocking sound plays automatically). Students open the door to find out which community helper is inisde. Each community helper page allows students to drag a person (field of 3) to complete the sentence "Look! I see ___". Each community helper is followed by a 1 page short reading passage (2-3 factual sentences with visual supports) + 3 pages of comprehension questions with field of 4 visual responses. Students then return to the start page to pick a new door. Great way to work on reading comprehension, WH questions, and introduce or reinforce knowledge of community helpers in a fun and interactive way.
