Description: Occupations (AKA Community Helpers) are important for young learners to learn and lead to a better understanding of their community and the world. This deck includes several examples of pictures and drawings of clearly defined community helpers in a variety of settings. This deck includes optional sound. This deck is a receptive deck, so it is self-grading in an array of four choices. This deck corresponds with the Community Helpers (Occupations) Expressive Deck 2, in which the learner is asked to name the community helper. This deck reviews the occupations taught in deck 1: Doctor, Teacher, Police Officer, Dancer, and Farmer. It introduces Dentist, Chef, Fire Fighter, Musician, and Soldier.
