Description

Emotions drawing conclusions activity! Targets skills such as: making inferences, reading comprehension, context clues, identifying emotions/ feelings, WH questions & drawing conclusions. Students read a short story about a child and are then asked "What is ___ feeling?". Students practice drawing conclusions by answering the question and selecting the correct emotion the child must be feeling in the story. Answers are in multiple choice format and students are given 3 emotions to choose from. All short stories are school themed. Emotions practiced: Happy, sad, nervous, excited, embarrassed, frustrated, proud, shy, surprised, bored, curious, angry, confused, jealous, brave, creative, calm, confident, scared, & mad.
