Description: This farm themed resource is designed to assist students in verbalising 'I hear' sentences. Boom cards feature real animal sounds (sheep, rooster, cow, chick, dog, cat, horse and pig) and a mix of clipart and photographs. Great for speech therapy, early intervention and special education. The Boom card deck features 3 different activities to explore the animal sounds: 1) Explore the farm. Students are taken to a clipart image of a farm in which they can click on all of the animals and hear what sounds they make. 2) Who is in the barn? Students listen to the sound by clicking the speech bubble. Make a guess about who is inside before clicking the arrow to view a photograph of the animal. Ask your students "What can you hear?" before they click, to encourage the articulation of I hear X sentences. 3) Test your skills. Students are taken through 9 multiple choice questions. They listen to the animal sound before clicking on the correct answers. When students answer correctly they are automatically moved on to the next question, when they answer incorrectly they can try again.
