Description: Students will practice irregular English past tense verbs with simple pronouns (he/she/it/we/they). They will select which verb is correct. Students will practice irregular past tense verbs. They will select which verb is correct. These verbs are "level 1" or "Easy." The levels are arbitrary for the purpose of these task cards. This is a multiple choice deck with two word options to choose from. Teachers may choose to use this as an enrichment activity or as a quick assessment tool at the end of the corresponding grammar unit. The sentence in these examples are at a lower reading level so students who are learning English (ESL ELL or ML) may participate in the activity, as well.
