Description
This deck contains a total of 25 cards, with 101 opportunities to practice the medial and final /t/ and /d/ sounds. Each practice card contains: *a picture, *the written word in red, *a "hear it" button to push to hear the directions (optional), *a draggable snowball revealing a number (10 or less)-that's how many times the child says the word. *a thumbs up button-push if word articulated correctly, *a thumbs down button-push if word was not articulated correctly and the student can try again. The deck also provides a mouth picture on each practice slide depicting how the /t/ and /d/ are produced in the mouth. You can structure your sessions to have the student say the word at the word, phrase or sentence level. The SLP can identify the word as articulated correctly or you can have the student self-monitor and determine if their production was correct or not. When the word is not said correctly, the SLP provides cues or directs the student to press the ear to hear the word again. Then the student can try again. You can also assign the deck for home practice!
