Description: Spelling practice for the 2014, 2017 Wonders spelling word list. Unit 1 Week 1 It is a pirate-themed page where the students hear the audio of a word, and audio of a sentence using the word. Then they copy the practice word twice. On the following slide, they try to spell the word from memory, with audio support. It goes through the entire list and every week when they get to the end they see how the pirate is creatively rescued. I have students use this slide later in the week when they have practiced their words a bit. Check out my gumball unscramble, they do that deck before this deck.
