Description

This activity will teach students about the different routines, procedures and rules that they are likely going to have to follow when returning to school following COVID-19 school closures. This activity can either be used to prep students ahead of returning to school, or it can be used as an on-going activity throughout the school year to continue to reinforce these new concepts to your students. A variety of questions with multiple choice (with pictures) and open ended written responses are provided. Included in this product are rules, procedures and routines that focus on: -Face masks -Social distancing -Sharing supplies -Touching others -Touching my face -Coughing and sneezing -Having my temperature taken at school -Face shields -Other classes, such as art and speech -Washing and sanitizing my hands -Drinking fountains -Group work -When I feel sick (what to do if you feel sick and important symptoms to look out for) -Hybrid learning (what is hybrid learning and what to expect from it) -Recess -Dismissal -What to do if you accidentally forget a rule/procedure -How to be flexible if there is a sudden change in the school’s schedule -How to be flexible if there is a sudden rule or procedure change.
