Description
This interactive no-prep activity is an engaging way to help your students build a variety of receptive and expressive language skills targeting identifying and labeling spatial concepts as well as answering "Where" Questions. This interactive activity is extremely motivating and engaging with ANIMATED GIFS! Students are presented with an animated Dancing Turkey (GIFS), a barn, and a thanksgiving table. Students are asked to identify spatial concepts (e.g. on, on top, in front, behind, under, above, below, between, next to) in a field of 2. Students are asked "Where is the turkey?" Students are given 2 visual choices of prepositions (e.g. behind, in front) to answer the "Where" question. Students are asked to identify and label the following spatial concepts: - in front - behind - on top - above - below - under - next to - between Some of the following IEP goals can be targeted during this activity: - Where Questions - What Doing Questions (e.g. ask students what the animal is doing and present 2 visual choices if needed) - Expanding Utterances and increasing MLU - Identifying and labeling basic concepts (e.g. prepositions)
