The Key Idea behind this game is that students practice double digit addition problems without regrouping. The first ten problems are in a framework that helps students keep their ones and tens straight. The last 10 problems do not have the framework, so that students start to practice double digit addition without using the support. This is a fill in the blank game. The cursor automatically starts in the ones column to help teach students to always start in the ones column.
