Description
Students will reason concretely and pictorially using place value understanding to relate adjacent base ten units from millions to thousandths with problems similar to those on the Problem Sets and Exit Slips. This goes along with Engage NY Math grade 5 module 1 lesson 1. These decks were created to complement the Engage NY grade 5 unit, but can easily be used with any math program or at any time of the year for review. This is one of 16 "Capture the Monster" games that review the 5th grade use of place value and decimals. This deck also introduces students to the different monsters that they can "capture" in the rest of the decks for Module 1. You can purchase the whole set of 16 decks as a bundle for a very reduced price or you can purchase each deck individually.
