Description: Looking for a fun way to work on describing, sentence expansion, pronouns and plurals all in one? This Monster Describing deck contains 20 unique monsters in all different shapes, sizes and colors! Students can drag the attributes (color, numbers 0-3, long/short, round, square, triangle, big/small) and body parts onto the sentence strip to create sentences. 2 levels are included for using 1 attribute (i.e. long legs) or 2 attributes (i.e. long yellow legs). Each monster states his/her/their pronoun (he/she/they[singular]) on the card in a speech bubble. This is intentionally provided to be an opportunity to discuss inclusive pronouns with students and the importance of not assuming anyone's pronouns based on name or appearance.
