This activity helps students/young adults explore how to stay honest while still being kind and considerate. Each scenario asks learners to choose the most thoughtful response — then reflect on why it works better than being blunt or saying something that might sound hurtful. It’s not about lying or being fake — it’s about choosing how much truth to share and how directly to say it, depending on the situation. Through real-life examples, students practice using social filters (i.e., white lies), perspective-taking, and self-awareness in a positive, neurodiversity-affirming way.
