Description: Looking for an expressive vocabulary activity for adverbs for your speech or special education students? This adverb activity includes adverbs of time, adverbs that compare, and adverbs that tell when in a simple format to use as autism classroom resources or your IEP data binder. Divided into two sets, receptive and expressive, so that you can differentiate for your diverse learners, students learn and are assessed on about 20 adverbs using a simple fill-in format. In the receptive task, learners select the correct adverb from a choice of two Boardmakerâ„¢ symbols, and the expressive, they verbally (or with their communication method) say what word in missing in the sentence. They can even record their own voice!
