Description

Perfect for summer review or test prep! Students will practice four-digit subtraction across zeroes in this fun, summer themed activity. Students will see a four-digit minus three-digit or four-digit math sentence in the standard algorithm (vertical) form. They will fill in each box one at a time to form a four- through two-digit difference. Each four-digit minuend includes 2 to 3 zeros in a row (for example, 8000, 4003, 2600). Students will SHOW ALL OF THEIR WORK DIRECTLY ON THE SLIDE (including the regrouping/ borrowing)!!! If a student makes a mistake, they will receive immediate feedback of where the mistake(s) are, so they can make corrections and resubmit. 3.NBT.2 CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.3.NBT.A.2 Fluently add and subtract within 1000 using strategies and algorithms based on place value, properties of operations, and/or the relationship between addition and subtraction. 4.NBT.4 CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.4.NBT.B.4 Fluently add and subtract multi-digit whole numbers using the standard algorithm.
