Description: Identifying breaks in unity is a skill that enables students to better focus their own writing so that it supports the topic sentence/thesis statement. Help your students keep their own writing tight by identifying breaks in paragraph unity. Each card has a paragraph with numbered sentences. Students read the paragraph and identify which sentence doesn't belong. They click the button with the corresponding number--no typing involved! This boom deck is based on my Paragraph Unity task card set in my TpT store. As stated in that description, my paragraph unity task card set (and now boom deck) uses a few paragraphs from my logical order writing resources. If your students commonly use their phones to complete online work, please re-think buying this. It is text-heavy and may be difficult to read on a small device.
