Description
Winter vocab is a fun game that will help you students explore and practice vocabulary words related to winter.This set of cards is similar to “Spot It” and can be used to target related to winter: vocabulary, describing, attending skills and visual discrimination! Students can practice winter related vocabulary by matching the picture to the definition, and labeling vocabulary words. Then they can have fun and practice the words by playing “Match - It!”. The following words are targeted in this resource: Ice Skating Snowboard Snowflake Snowman Hockey Sticks Fireplace Snow Globe Snow Tubing Sled Skiing Ear Muffs Snowplow Mittens Scarf Sweater Thermometer Snow shovel Gloves Hot Chocolate Anyone can use this resource to learn about winter words with their students. This activity can be used as a brain break, homework assignment or class reward to introduce your students to words they will find in the classroom. SLPs can use these Boom Cards in therapy sessions with groups or individual students to target winter vocabulary words or other goals.
