Description
Build receptive language, identify colors & increase color word recognition (reading color words) with this fall themed resource. This is a "Learn and Practice" resource, with different tabs for differentiated levels of support provided. While primarily a receptive language / identification activity, it can be adapted to address expressive language as well. Your student can: - LEARN about leaf colors and learn to read color words. A visual cue is provided with a leaf of a particular color being pictured and the corresponding color word written below in the color of the leaf. An auditory cue is also provided, with optional audio that says the name of the color / leaf (ex: "a yellow leaf"). - Receive GUIDED PRACTICE with the tree requesting a leaf in a particular color (ex: "I want a red leaf.") and a visual cue is provided with the written color word in the same color of the leaf being requested. Optional audio is again available for your student. - Engage in INDEPENDENT PRACTICE, with the tree requesting the different colors of leaves, but no visual cues are provided in this round of trials. Optional auditory cue is available. - Finally, a fun REINFORCEMENT ACTIVITY is provided, as your student gets to watch a little girl as she jumps in the leaves! Optional Audio is included in each level.
