Description: Strengthen your students' understanding of scale degrees! This deck covers the concepts introduced in RCM Celebrate Theory levels 3-5. Teaching cards and multiple choice questions cover both numerical scale degrees, and scale degree names (tonic, subdominant, dominant, subtonic and leading tone.) The first six cards introduce the concepts and give example questions to try. The following 15 cards are randomized, providing a new game each time. This deck has been optimized for accessibility. Directions are provided in both text and audio, and alt-text is given for sound and images. Each card can be accessed through tab navigation or by mouse or touch-screen. This deck is not piano focused, so is ideal for all types of music instruction, including private or group music lessons, piano lessons, band class, choir, theory lessons, exam preparation, and homeschooling.
