I modified it for the population I work with and simplified the language (terms of some of symbols). I made this BOOM version because I needed a practical way to introduce it with the distance learning model. This is a basic introduction for using the SGM to retell a story. I use The Three Little Pigs story to demonstrate how to use the SGM to retell it. Most all children know this story, so I always start with it.
