Description
Play a variety of phonological awareness games with these CVC pictures! A CVC picture hides beneath each ice cream scoop. Move a scoop onto a cone and add toppings! For each CVC picture, practice phonological awareness skills such as: - Identify the first sound or last sound - Sound out the word (e.g. c-a-t) - Say the CVC word then come up with a rhyming word - Say a sentence including the CVC word This can be extended further with writing activities (e.g. see the CVC picture then ask the student to spell it out on a whiteboard).
