Description
Expanding Utterances back to school themed activity. Students will practice identifying colors & school themed nouns.This activity is aimed to help expand student's utterances to complete sentences & aid in language development. Students are asked "what do you see?" at the top of each card and are presented with a large image of a school themed item. Students must complete the "I see a..." sentence strip at the bottom of the card by dragging the correct color & noun into the sentence strip. Students are given 2 colors and 2 nouns to choose from. All answers are written and have visual aids to help with comprehension. Vocabulary practiced: bus, pencil, eraser, calculator, backpack, sharpener, paper clip, marker, pen, highlighter, crayon, ruler, apple, scissors, notebook, desk, push pin, school, chalkboard Colors practiced: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, black, white, brown
