Description
This is a deck practices phonemic awareness in three different ways, focusing on the Short-E sound: complete a picture puzzle, click a picture matching a word, and typing a word. There are 27 cards in this deck. HOW TO PLAY: Activity 1: Puzzle - Students complete the puzzle by reading the Short-E word and dragging the corresponding picture to the correct space on the puzzle. (9 cards) 2. Click-A-Word - students read the Short-E word and click the correct picture. (9 cards) 3. Spelling - Type the Short-E word to match the picture. (9 cards) The self-checking feature instantly informs students if their answers are correct, for immediate feedback and a chance to correct the answer. USING BOOM CARDS: Boom Cards are digital, paperless task cards that focus on a specific skill. The cards are interactive and very easy to use.
