Working on verbs and directing actions? This deck is MONSTER fun! Students love animated gifs in Boom Cards™ and the best part is they can choose the action (spin, fly, jump, wiggle, bounce)! This deck contains 2 different activities: Directing Actions and Describing Actions. All tasks include Smarty Symbol interactive sentence strips and 2 levels, one including the color attribute of the monster and one without. Describing actions cards are self-checking, so students will receive audio/visual feedback. Directions cards are included. Directing Actions - Students will drag an action (spin, fly, jump, wiggle, bounce) to complete the sentence, then click the green action to initiate the animation - 5 cards: 1 monster, 5 actions - 10 cards: Option to choose attribute for "purple" or "yellow" monster with sentence strip Describing Actions: - Based on the animation shown, students will drag the action word into the sentence strip and say the full sentence using -ing ending. - 10 cards without color attribute - 10 cards (same actions) with color attribute - all describing cards are self-checking
