Description: This deck features phonological awareness activities for usage in speech therapy sessions. Specifically, the pattern of velar fronting is targeted. Four activities target letter-to-sound correspondence and sound-to-letter correspondence of /k/; “c” and /g/ sounds in words. There are /k-t/ and /g-d/ sound contrasts incorporated throughout the deck. At least 20 target words are included with /k, g/ sounds in the word initial and final positions. The activities consist of: sound-picture match; fill-in the missing sound; sound/letter identification [drag & drop activity]; and create a sentence. Audio is included in some sections.
