Count the number of syllables, check your answer then move your counter on our Syllable Race Board Game the same amount of spaces. These cards can also be used without the game as a literacy center activity to improve your children's ability to correctly break words into syllables - an early phonological awareness skill and a cornerstone of being able to spell unfamiliar words later.
