Description
This Deck focuses on the skill of subtraction using a 10-frame. With a fun underwater shipwreck theme, students will move the treasure X to show the coins that are being subtracted, and then select the correct remainder. This really works their knowledge and practice of working backwards--if the X's are not placed in reverse order on the coins (last X on the last coin) the problem will be incorrect. This is a difficult, but necessary skill we need them to develop...and honestly, it's probably a lot more fun to learn it this way than with paper and pencil! Also available as part of a large 10-frame bundle.
