Description
Fall Ten Frame is a math tool that allows primary learners to see numbers, understand that numbers are composed of ten and develop place value skills using a ten frame. Apples and Leaves theme are part of Fall Ten Frame math. Students read the number, then they pick the apples or leaves off the tree, placing them in the one of the Ten frame slots. They have to pick the correct number of apples or leaves before they can move on. Students hear a “ting” when correct and are allowed to move on. Students hear a “Whoops” when the answer is incorrect. This is a FUN, hands-on, interactive resource to get students counting using 1:1 ratio to represent a number using objects.
