Dot Addition- Counting on +8 and +9

Description: In this boom deck, students will practice adding 8 and 9 to single digit numbers. There are circles for students to touch to add, if they are needed. There are some students who will use the dots every single time. Others will realize that if the first addend is 3, like in 3+8. Then the students can add more quickly by starting with the 8 and adding 3 more. Because of this, I put two cards in if the first addend is larger than the addend with the dots. Then students get double the practice with counting +8 and +9 dots. This is a part of a bundle of decks differentiated to help students master their math facts.
