Help your little ones to work on their phonemic awareness with this deck about short and long vowel u. They will start by practicing the short and long sounds for vowel u. Then they will work on the following activities: * Listen to the word and pay attention to the vowel sound. Is it short or long? * Look at the pictures or listen to the words and drop the images into the correct box accroding to the vowel sound. * Listen to the short or long vowel sound and choose the picture that has that sound. * Sort the pictures into the correct boxes according to their short or long vowel sound. This activity can be used with language learners or dual language learners to help them improve their vocabulary as the pictures have audio.
