Description
This interactive no-prep activity is an engaging way to help your students build a variety of receptive and expressive language skills with thanksgiving food and animated CHORES VERBS (GIFS). Students are able to set the table for the thanksgiving dinner feast by following 1-step directions to put specific food items on the thanksgiving table. After, there will be a chore verb behind each item. This activity includes: - A variety of thanksgiving food items (e.g. pie, bread, turkey, cornucopia, apple, jam, corn, yam, vegetables, pumpkin, mashed potatoes, carrots, sweet potatoes, gravy, stuffing, cranberries, green beans, pumpkin pie) - A variety of chores verbs (e.g. ironing, vacuuming, washing windows, sweeping, taking out garbage, washing dishes, making bed. mixing, dusting, feeding dog, walking dog, mopping, gardening, spraying, cooking, folding, wiping) The following IEP goals can be targeted during the activity: - Following 1-step directions - Answering WH questions (e.g. ask what is the girl/boy doing) - Labeling Verbs - Identifying & Labeling Food
