Description
This deck includes 15 two-syllable words for children to construct, syllable by syllable. Words include double consonants (segmented as a single sound, not split across syllables) as well as consonant digraphs ck, ch, sh, th, wh. Sound included to assist with word recognition. The concept of "open" or "closed" syllables is not addressed. Words are split into syllables according to "natural" syllable breaks resulting from word stress.
