The two pictures that students have to choose from on each card have been strategically chosen to help students really concentrate on the sounds they see and hear as they are reading the word. For example, when sounding out the word d-o-g, a picture of a dog and dig are displayed. This teaches students to really pay attention to the medial sound and the vowel as they read the word "dog." This deck is perfect for reading intervention! This pack was designed for kindergarten and first-grade students. However, it's important to focus on the SKILLS your students need to be reinforced and taught.
