Description: This resource targets basic problem-solving of interoception processes, or physical sensations of the body, such as hunger, thirst, and nausea. Students use written and visual context to identify body signals, label how they’re feeling, and determine appropriate ways to manage each state. This activity supports essential functional skills, including: πŸ”Ž Recognizing and naming internal body sensations πŸ› οΈ Choosing appropriate strategies to regulate and respond to those sensations Students explore 10 interoceptive states (hot, awake, hungry, tired, thirsty, sick, cold, full, energetic, nauseated) through a consistent, scaffolded structure. Each sensation includes three parts to build understanding and carryover: 🧠 Label the sensation. Using a brief scenario and picture, students identify the physical feeling from four choices. πŸ› οΈ Problem-solve a response.
