It also includes some seasonal fringe vocabulary: spring, bugs, net, catch, butterfly, bee, ladybug, dragonfly, fly. VERSION 1: Written questions and answers are provided 1. Read the prompt card and encourage students to respond to question presented by using core vocabulary word (e.g., “my”) 2. Model as needed (i.e., “Your language is: my butterfly”) and click on the girl 3. Go to the next answer card once student has responded and drag the bug to the girl VERSION 2: No written questions and answers (This version may allow for more modification. Students can simplify [e.g., “my butterfly”] or expand [e.g., “That is my butterfly”] utterances as needed). 1. Read the prompt card (e.g., “I caught a butterfly in my net”) 2. Encourage student to use the target core vocabulary word via multi-modal communication (speech, AAC system, etc.) 3. Model as needed (i.e., “Your language is: it is my butterfly”) and click on the girl 4. Go to the answer card once student has responded and drag the bug to the girl
