Description
Students can read and spell the Primer sight words in a unique way with this secret code activity. We all agree that readers need to learn the high frequency words, and this self-checking activity is a fun way for students to play and practice. All fifty-two of the Dolch Primer sight words are included. This sight word activity meets multiple learning style needs. Auditory learners have the option to hear the words. Visual learners have the secret code clues. Kinesthetic learners have the tactile experience of typing on the keyboard. My students frequently play this game, and I've observed improved spelling of the sight words in their writing practice. The spelling has become more automatic.
