Level 1 Adapted Book (Simple Utterances) - Targets the carrier phrase "I see" + ocean animal vocabulary (shark, starfish, whale, crab, eel, dolphin, jellyfish, octopus, seahorse and fish). Students drag the correct ocean animal icon to the sentence strip along the bottom of the page, and can use the sentence strip to describe what they would need in that situation (e.g., I see a whale). This adapted book uses all real photos. Level 2 Adapted Book (Expanded Utterances) - Targets the carrier phrase "I see" + ocean animal vocabulary (shark, starfish, whale, crab, eel, dolphin, jellyfish, octopus, seahorse and fish) + prepositional phrase. Students drag the correct ocean animal icon to the sentence strip along the bottom of the page, and can use the sentence strip to describe what they would need in that situation (e.g., I see a whale in the ocean). This adapted book uses all real photos. This resource also includes 10 receptive ID pages. Students ID weather vocabulary from a choice of four (4) real photos. Receptive ID pages use real photos.
