Description
In this digital, no-print, no-prep summer and beach themed Boom Card Activity, your learner will practice using core words to help the children request desired ice cream/popsicles (i.e., "I want + __") and subsequently, follow 1 step commands by giving the children the requested items. The tasks in this boom card target working memory, matching, core vocabulary, adjectives and modified nouns, and pragmatic skills (e.g., requesting, responding appropriately by saying "thank you"). Sentence strips and picture symbols representing core words serve as visual cues and benefit early language learners, those with autism, and those using AAC.
