Description: Students will solve subtraction word problems within 20 using pictures and the crossing out strategy. They will drag the X to cross out and then type the numbers to complete the number sentence. This deck has been designed for students to cross out in a systematic order beginning at the bottom right and moving across to the left. CCSS K.CC.A.3 Write numbers from 0 to 20. Represent a number of objects with a written numeral 0-20 (with 0 representing a count of no objects). CCSS K.CC.B.4 Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.
