Description: With this grammar activity, students will drag the teapot or teapots to the word or words that are proper nouns and need to be capitalized. They will then type the word with a capital letter. These get students thinking because for cities, countries, and name brands, I invented some names. Students will need to use the context to determine what needs the capital letter. This really helps them to master this skills since in real life we come across names of places and things that we may not be familiar with at all. The tea pots help to confirm the word, so it is not too overwhelming for them. This particular activity covers capitalization of names, the first word in a sentence, dates, places, and brand names.
