Description
PURPOSE: To locate AAC vocabulary words from different categories, then describe the picture on the next page with no visual prompts. Students using AAC symbols for communication can use a variety of vocabulary words from different categories to describe pictures. In this activity, AAC category prompts are on the first page for students to locate vocabulary words that go with the picture. The next page has no visual prompts and student can create a sentence to describe the picture. Categories include: people, places, actions, and time.
