A fun Christmas "I spy" game of identifying feelings emotions for preschool through early elementary. There are three tiers to this deck: 1. Identify one feeling from six santas on a white background. Students receive immediate response feedback. 2. Identify one feeling on six Santas on a complicated background (gingerbread houses, Christmas trees etc), students receive immediate response feedback. 3. Students use the draw tool to draw each feeling on an outline of Santa's head. Multiple colors can be used. Teacher provides response feedback. Learner Supports: Home page, back and forth arrows, tiered intervention, audio directions. Feelings included: sad, mad, happy, surprised, excited, sleepy, frustrated, confused, embarrassed, loving, silly, shocked, scared. Easy to extend into multiple lessons by using these probes: "When have you felt ___________," and "why would Santa feel ___________?" For the drawing activity, have students describe what they are drawing. For example, "wide-open eyes" for surprised.
