Description: Phonological Awareness is the foundation for Reading and Writing success. Students who have phonological awareness know that language is made up of words, rhymes, syllables, and sounds. In this game students listen to one syllable words and clap them. Then, they drag the pictures to the scene to decorate it. The purpose of this game is for students to practice breaking words into syllables. This game is also part of a growing bundle of phonological awareness activities.
