Description
Students read 4 ou/ow words and see pictures for vocabulary help. Second page has word families to practice reading. There is then a page where they read 10 ou/ow words and drag them to match their picture. They read the short story. The story consists of 20 or more different ou/ow words with the rest being mostly CVC, silent e, vowel team words, r-controlled words, and easy sight words. There are green highlighting strips to move over trouble words or help find answers. The story then stays at the top of the page while students answer multiple choice questions about the story. At the end, students sequence four events.
