Impostor Snowman (Winter) Order of Operations PAS (No Exponents)

Description: This boom deck is focused on the game of melting snowmen. Students will have to earn wood logs by completing order of operations equations, once they earn three logs, they start a fire and melt a snowman. The purpose of the game is to melt the leader to end the game. Once the students solve enough equations (15) they will get to melt the leader which will melt all the snowmen. This boom deck focuses on the order of operations (without the use of exponents, multiplication, or division). addition, subtraction, and parentheses only. This game style boom card is a great way to engage students in learning about the order of operations and/or review them, while also playing a game about deductive reasoning. Sure to be a hit with upper elementary/middle school aged students! P.S. The snowmen are clip art that are available on my boom store, if you want to take them and make your own game with them!
