Description
This fun and interactive Boom Card Deck contains 10 cards. Students will be presented with cute Halloween-themed animated GIFs and be asked to identify the correct present progressive form of the verb that is being represented. In addition, a slow speaking rate is encouraged with the repetition of the sentences that are formed. Turtles are placed under each word in the sentence in order to remind the student to talk slowly and carefully and to include all sounds in each word. This practice of completing over-articulation of all sounds in words will lead to a clearer, more intelligible verbal expression of words within 4 to 6 word sentences. Receptive language can also be targeted, as the student who can not read, needs to listen to a full sentence read and then is encouraged to repeat the whole sentence.
