Description: This set of 32 task cards is meant to review/reinforce the Segment Addition Postulate in different ways and at different student levels. • The cards are written with three “levels” of difficulty • Cards 1 – 8 have no algebra or variables. They are just asking the students to apply the Segment Addition postulate to find missing measures that are represented by whole numbers, fractions and decimals. • Cards 9 – 16 have algebra, but with variables only one side of the equation. • Cards 17 – 32 have algebra with variables on both sides of the equation. • The cards are also mixed in difficulty with some cards featuring the picture with all of the labels and some cards involving written descriptions. • Some of the cards also involve the use of the midpoint and setting congruent measures equal to each other as well.
